When it is the Haunts fault, When its the customers,

Welcome Back everyone! Hope everyone is having as great week and looking forward to Haunt Season.

Last year, we had an interesting situation pop up at a Haunted Attraction in Ohio. A Woman in Ohio claims a Halloween Attraction included a mock rape scene. "What!!!!"

Digging deeper into the article we see that this was not a scene that the Attraction included but an Actor that may have went a little too far for this woman's liking on her boyfriend. So, now this whole headline has changed as there is no mock rape scene and it did not happen to a woman in the first place.

"A tall man that looked like Leatherface was pushing him down on the bed in front of me". "So I said, please stop That's My Boyfriend!!! The actor continued with "He is my boyfriend now" as he started to "thrust" into the back side of the boyfriend. So we continue reading. "I could not stop thinking about my friends who have been sexually assaulted. it was a PTSD situation.

Lets take a look at this. Do I think the actor went too far? Sure, you can say that. But for this woman to come out and claim PTSD for something shes never experienced is straight ignorant and has no bearing on anything. The Boyfriend didn't care, he was rushed out of the attraction by his girlfriend because she was triggered.

Maybe the poor young woman was assaulted at some point. It does not say that she was, but this message is for everyone. If you are the type of person that gets upset by things they see instantly, or actions of other people. Stay out of Haunted Attractions, just stay home. The actor went a little overboard and I can't say that I have seen a rape scene but I have been in many where sexy girls throw beads at you wearing close to nothing. So, what this boils down to is that this young lady is completely fine with bodies hanging all over the place, body parts strung everywhere, People screaming for help and sitting in cages as slaves or as victims, but her boyfriend gets taken and this is a news worthy issue. Keep your 5 seconds of fame to your self. Your cool with murder and the worst thoughts in human existence but an actor clowning around and trying to make you laugh, you need to talk to the media?

Tough talking points, but in the era of everyone triggered over every little thing has no room in Haunted Attractions.

Come back tomorrow for something new, Not sure what! but it will be new! See you then!

Tuesday's With TheMovieVlog

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

"Jason Voorhees? You're outta your fucking mind. You've been out in the sun too long. Jason Voorhees is dead!"

Story: "Still haunted by his past, Tommy Jarvis - who, as a child, killed Jason Voorhees - wonders if the serial killer is connected to a series of brutal murders occurring in and around the secluded halfway house where he now lives."
The film opens with little Tommy Jarvis (played once again by Corey Feldman) walking through the woods until he comes to a grave. The grave marker reads, "Jason Voorhees". Tommy catches two men trying to dig up Jason's body. Once they pry open the casket, Jason arises and immediately kills the two men. Tommy is frozen in fear as Jason walks over to him, raises his machete, and then... we cut to a grown man waking up from a horrible nightmare. Soon, we learn that this is our grown up  Tommy.
Tommy is getting taken to a new half way home called Pinehurst. There are several other residents at Pinehurst who are all pretty close to Tommy's age. Pam is introduced here. She is the assistant director of Pinehurst, and our new final girl. Almost immediately, another resident named Joey is axed to death right on the front lawn by one of his housemates.
Shortly after Joey is murdered, other locals start getting picked off one by one again. Jason's dead though... or is he?

Acting: The acting in this entry is pretty mediocre. I've definitely seen worse, but honestly, these performances are nothing to write home about. Even this version of Tommy Jarvis, played by John Shepherd, is my least favorite of the three actors who play that character. He is just so boring and brings nothing new to the character. Even Melanie McKinnaman (Pam) is a super forgettable final girl.

Fear Factor: This is the first Friday the 13th film to come off pretty silly, in my opinion. It isn't played straight horror like the first four films. Jason isn't as fierce or menacing anymore. I will give credit where it is due though. The kills are solid, done with pretty great practical effects. Other then that, I do not find this one to be scary at all.

Originality: I see a lot of similarities between this film and the original. It is a "who done it" type horror film, since we do not know if Jason is back from the grave or not. They don't show the killer until the 3rd act, just like the first film. They try to give this movie a plot twist and big reveal, but honestly, it's so stupid. I hate the reveal of the killer in this one. It makes this movie have plot holes so big that you could drive a truck through them. Besides the story taking place in a half way home, there really is nothing new here.

Overall: So, I won't lie. I'm not a big fan of this entry. This was actually the first time I've seen it in years, because I usually skip it during a marathon. The plot holes are almost too much to handle. I will admit I had fun with this viewing. My husband found it to have many funny moments, and so did I. I like the crazy characters like Ethel and Junior, the comical Demon and his girlfriend, and (of course) Reggie the Reckless. Regardless, this isn't a sequel that I ever crave to watch like the films before it. I'm just glad that they dismiss the end of this one for the next film.

Scores:
Overall:

I have to fully agree with her on this entry. Reggie The Reckless was awesome but not even close to save this shithole. I really don't know what in the hell they were thinking with this one. Great job again for Tuesdays With TheMovieInsta!

Exorcist. Great Movie But A Ton Of Odd Occurrences.

Welcome Back everyone. Today we will take a behind the scenes look into one of the best Horror Movies of All Time. The Exorcist.

Back in 1973, When William Friedkin wanted to turn a very scary novel into a big screen premiere, He was ready for the success, but no one was ready for some of the strangest happenings in Hollywood.

1. The Movie was based off of a true story of when Priests from Georgetown University Hospital performed a real Exorcism on a poor young male child. It was successful and the kid ended up working at NASA with no recollection of what happened.

2. Every piece of the set burnt down with the exception of Reagan's room. Some reports of a pigeon some how getting into an electrical box and burnt down almost all of the set during production.

3. 5 different people found death early during filming. All with ties to the Actors of the film. All mysteriously.

4. In 1987, The son of the woman who played the Demon Voice, Mercedes Mccambridge picked up a gun and murdered his Wife, Son and then himself while watching A Nightmare on Elm Street.

So we had unanswered deaths, A set burned down, Many people tied to the movie gone. We cannot say nothing weird did not happen to a movie based on Possession. There are many more stories but the ones listed are the only ones we could find that are confirmed.

This movie struck a lot of nerves through out the country. At this time religion was not to be played with and an Exorcism was still not fully discussed through the Vatican or any other church. Then it goes and have a twelve year old actress masturbate with a cross. This movie broke boundaries.

What are your opinions? Just some rare happenings and occurrences. Or did something Supernatural effect the Filming process?

4 for 4 in HHN Predictions

Welcome back everyone! Today we have a new announcement from HHN. If you haven't figured it out by the picture we borrowed, The Killer Klowns From Outer Space are getting their own Walk Through this year. Like many scare zones the prior year, HHN is bringing the 80's sensation back as its own maze for 2019.

I don't really know what to say about this as there are so many Clown Walk Through's through out the country. Every Haunt in america has something to do with clowns. Plus, this was more of a B movie comedy and very weird. But, with that said there is a very big fan base for this Cult Classic.

This also notes that HH365 is 4 for 4 in predicting what is coming to HHN this year. Great Job John! Let us see what else the future brings for announcements to HHN, The biggest stage of Haunted Attractions.

The Greatest Location For a Haunted Attraction is for sale...Who is in?

Welcome Back Everyone! Thanks to Realtor.com, we can see that the Amityville House is on the market....Again! At a 200 thousand dollar discount, 649k is a steal for a Long Island property on water. This property once sold for 1.2 million dollars. Then they were asking for 850K, now its all the way down to 650,000 dollars. That is very interesting to me. How come none of the other owners but the Lutz family have reported any issues with the house but yet a property worth well over a million dollars is coming close to dropping in half? We are talking 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths on the water in Long Island.

I have believed for some time that there is something not really clear about this property, we have mentioned it recently in what really happened the night Ronnie Defeo killed his entire family and the Lutz family sent into a Infamous Status. Again, like for George Lutz. The Amityville home is a steal again.

This site would profit through the roof as an Haunted Attraction. You would bring people from all over the world every September, October and November every single year. This could open 7 days a week and you will fill it every time.

There are many Haunts set in Real Time Haunted locations but this would be the best ever. This house would do 5 times the amount of Eastern State, Waverly Hills, Pennhurst an d many more Haunted Haunted Attractions.

The house is huge. If you were to add Haunt panels, you could make a very long and detailed Haunt.

Thanks for stopping by to HH365. Keep it here for everything odd and creepy.  Thanks again.

My Top Ten Horror List Right Now

Welcome back to another edition of HH365. Today we will take a peek into what is pretty much my top ten favorite Horror Movies of all time and why. I am not saying this is the scariest list and these movies will horrify you to the bone. And I will add that some of these will make you scratch your head. But! This is my list, make your own. All images are not owned by HH365.com, they belong to their awesome creators like George above. Lets Go!

10.
One of the most well done movies about Haunting ever done. Great Cast, Great special effects. Just a full on great ride of a Ghost Movie. This will always be in my list and never need to defend it.

9.
Goofy and Campy but I Love It. Freddy's Dead will always be one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the look back into the History of Freddy scene and I enjoyed all the Cameos and Actors in this flick. You can make fun of it all you want but this is Freddy Krueger at his finest.

8.
Outstanding Rob Zombie installment. This movie covered a lot of the Horror Genre in just one movie. Some of the best acting in horror and easily some of the best directing done in the genre. One of the creepiest movies ever made that spawned outstanding sequels and one more to come!

7.
Paul Rudd! In his worst role! and horrible actors. But, I loved the story arch presented in this movie. Throw in some outstanding kills and Michael destroying everything in front of him. And then he finally killed his Final Guy. This was a bloody and fun movie. Hate it if you want, I enjoyed this installment.

6.
Scream brought Horror back with a force. Scream was a perfect storm of a great script and a great director with some awesome actors involved. A basic story that re birthed a genre and brought it back to glory after a downfall. Scream will always be up here for that reason alone.

5.
This movie is the definition of what you think Jason Voorhees is. Maybe super campy yes, but this movie is what I always wanted out of a slasher movie. Camp full of kids, counselors and a crazy hockey mask wearing killer on the loose. This movie was my favorite of the series hands down.

4.
The Conjuring also brought Horror back after the stupid horrible Japanese garbage we had to stomach for a few years. After Scream, we saw horror nose dive into The Ring, The Grudge and all that trash. The Conjuring brought Horror back in a big way.

3.
You cannot go wrong when Jaws is on. Great tracks, Great Acting and a big ass shark. Growing up by the beach, I think this movie effected me differently then most. It really had me into sharks at a young age and always fascinated with the water. I will always stop on Jaws while flipping through the channels.

2.
One of the most horrifying movies of all time. Rob Zombie's Halloween will always be my favorite edition to the lore of Michael Myers. From beginning to end this movie brings it! This movie in my eyes is legendary.

1.
No Secret Here. A Nightmare on Elm Street will always be my favorite Horror Movie of all time. Robert England with Wes Craven. Then you throw in Heather Langenkamp and Johnny Depp. This movie is my entire childhood. Really this movie is one of my earliest memories and that means I was raised right! Everyone can like what they like, to me Freddy Krueger changed the game then and forever.

There is a glimpse into 10 movies that I will always love and are always at the top of my list. Keep it here for more at HH365.com!

Tuesday's With The Movie Vlog

Welcome back everyone to HH365 for another Tuesday With The Movie Vlog! Lets Go!

Friday the 13th The Final Chapter (1984)

"Hey Ted! Where the hell is the corkscrew?!"

Story: "After being mortally wounded and taken to the morgue, murderer Jason Voorhees spontaneously revives and embarks on a killing spree as he makes his way back to his home at Camp Crystal Lake."
Of course, they start this film with a recap of the first three films. I don't really mind this recap, because it's only a quick three minutes. After the credits, the film opens back at Higgin's Haven. We see the aftermath of part 3. The place is crawling with police and we get to see them load up Jason to take him to the hospital morgue. I find all of this to be a little pointless, because Jason quickly comes to. He kills a couple of hospital workers and is on his way back to Crystal Lake in no time.
Now we get to meet the characters that we will spend the rest of the film with. Don't get me wrong. The hospital scene is pretty cool. It just feels very Halloween 2ish, and honestly, the film could have started right here. We meet the Jarvis family which consists of Mrs. Jarvis and her two children, Trish and Tommy. I guess you could call them our final children. The film also introduces a new group of teens for Jason to kill off. They are renting the house that sits next to the Jarvis home. This is a pretty decent sized group of teens, which leads to some awesome kills later on.
Jason is slowly making his way back to Crystal Lake to start killing once more.

Acting: This section is going to be short and sweet. I have no issues with the acting in this entry. The stand out for me will have to be little Corey Feldman, who plays Tommy Jarvis. That shouldn't come as a surprise though. He was always a great child actor. Plus, any film with Crispin Glover in it is an automatic win. Jimbo, you're definitely not a dead fuck to me.

Fear Factor: Although I found part 3's Jason to be the scariest, I think this Jason is the most brutal that we have seen so far. His kills are often not so quick, and take a lot of brute strength to pull off. I mean, Jason is throwing people out of windows in this one. It was also incredible obvious that Tom Savini was back to work on the special effects on this film. The kills are pretty top notch. The one with the corkscrew is my favorite in the whole movie.
Of course, I have to mention the ending of the film. I'll keep it spoiler free for all the noobs out there. I just have to say how spectacular the final kill of the film is. If you've seen it, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Originality: Even though at this point we are following a pretty basic slasher guide line, that doesn't mean it isn't a little original.  I think this entry has some of the most solid character development. They tried to do this with the side characters in part 3, but it didn't always stick or seem to matter. In this film, you really feel like you know the characters (especially Trish and Tommy) and you care about them. The kills are also a notch above the rest in this sequel. Best of all, no silly 3D effects are to be found!

Overall: I love this movie more and more every time I watch it. I find new things to love with every single viewing. Jason is brutal and scary. The kills are fantastic. The casting was perfect. What else is there to say? It's pretty obvious why this one is widely a fan favorite. Jason is finally dead! Or is he?

Scores:
Overall:

I really agree with her on this one. The only points I would have taken away was from the acting. Other then Crispen Glover and Corey Feldman, the rest of the cast really killed me keeping this sequel number 2 in my books. But Great Job!

And a Huge Shoutout to Our buddy at @backfatbettys on Instagram. Make sure you go ahead and continue to follow her and buy some stuff off her!

Until Next time!

100th Episode. Something Different. Atlantic City. My Hometown with a Ghostly Past

Welcome back everyone to HH365. Today we will take a look at some of the crazy and bizarre happenings of my home town, Atlantic City. There are a ton of stories coming from the rich history of this very small shore town. We will cover a few here and maybe more later. Some fun facts and history, some ghosts and a bloody past. Atlantic City will take more then this post to capture the intrigue of this city. Lets get into it.

Atlantic City was formed in 1853, when the first beach hotel The Belloe House opened. It was fully incorporated 1854 when the Camden and Atlantic Train line began. The same year, the historical Absecon Lighthouse was built as a result of the sinking of the Powhattan that saw 311 passengers and crew perish. To add to our story, The Absecon Lighthouse is also on the National Registry for Haunted Locations in the country.

Lets Continue. By 1874, about 500,000 people per year were coming into Atlantic City by Rail. The city's own Dr. Johnathan Pitney tried to develop Atlantic City into a healing town. Using the salt air and sea water to help people heal and rest from the city life. To think of what the city has been and has become really makes me laugh at the "Healing City" Lets fast forward to the interesting stuff.

We all know the Mob has always had a hand in Atlantic City. From the beginning and in the 80's and yes even today. Here are some fun facts that Boardwalk Empire did not show you.

1. Al Capone visited a ton of speak easys in Atlantic City. Atlantic City's location made it the best port to bootleg the then illegal alcohol. Not to mention that good ol ACPD was in Atlantic City Boss Nucky Johnsons pocket. So, if you are ever at the Irish Pub down by resorts. There is a good chance that Al Capone walked through that building. There are rumors a few of the casinos today are haunted by Capone. But I find this hard to handle because he is apparently Haunting Eastern State Penitentiary, Alcatraz and a few other dozen places. I am not expert on Ghosts but that is a lot of moving around. People only say this because some of the bodies of the old hotels were used for some of the casinos. But one interesting facts is that the building Nucky Johnson lived in. Still stands today. He leased the entire 9th floor of the Ritz Carlton.

2. The modern day Mob was formed in AC. Not NY, Not Philly, not even Vegas. Lucky Luciano held the Atlantic City Conference where they introduced The Commission and the Five Families.

3. Atlantic City is the inspiration for the board game Monopoly during the depression.

4. Boardwalk Hall, formally Atlantic City Convention Center has the worlds largest musical instrument. A Giant Pipe Organ with 33,000 pipes. Also the loudest instrument in the world. AC convention center is also rumored to be Haunted by many different spirits. I always heard Judy Garland but again like Capone, she is busy haunting thousands of theaters every where.

5. Atlantic City is home to the first Boardwalk. Surprisingly, I have only heard a few nut jobs talking about ghosts on the boardwalk. But! Next to the boardwalk on the beach. That whole coasts is up to its brim in paranormal activity. They have lost an uncountable amount of ships in the Atlantic. And a fuck ton of spirits have been reported along the entire jersey shore. With some of these fun facts, lets look into the darker side of AC.

There is massive blood sweat and tears across the entire city. Everywhere you turn has the chance to be haunted. With the blood soaked past present and future, I am shocked that there isn't more sightings and every inch of concrete has a story to tell.

The Tropicana is reportedly Haunted with the Ghost of Harry Houdini. Harry Houdini performed a lot in Atlantic City. What a lot of people don't know is that Houdini was obsessed with the occult. Mainly the afterlife. Houdini tried to reach out to spirits every day. He would do countless seances inside the hotel that became part of the Tropicana Hotel.

Then there was the 1990's. Atlantic City outside of the boardwalk and casinos practically became a Demilitarized Zone. The Gangs took over the tiny city. Now I am not saying it turned into Compton, California, but it was very close. Violence has always been a part of this city. Its in the ground. Since day one in this city there has been bloodshed. There has been Crime. There has been death. Atlantic City is Haunted by more then Ghosts, Atlantic City is Haunted by its past.

Well there was a HH365 kind of look into one of the craziest ghostly towns of all time. This was our 100th Episode! I really cant believe we hit 100 episodes. Thank you all for all of your support as we continue to grow.

Meet Our New Friend. Jason Voorhees Cosplayer Brian.

Welcome back everyone. Today we are going to introduce our new friend of HH365, Brian. As you can see in the picture above he cosplays as Jason Voorhees. He also runs southjerseyjason.com. Click the link and check it out! We will also have a spot over to the right so you can always get to his site. Lets get to our interview with Brian and dive right in to the world of Cosplay.

What got you into cosplaying?
I started attending horror conventions in 2012.  I was amazed at all of the cosplayers and how detailed their costumes were.  A year after my wife and I moved into our house, I started dressing up for Halloween to hand out candy.  I would stand at the corner of our street in costume and I would get the cars honking at me.  The cars would than turn around and follow me to my house and we would take pictures with them or their kids.  After the first year, I would get repeat trick or treater’s and adults coming to my home to take pictures with me.  My first time participating in an event was in October of 2017.  My friends Penelope, Justin and Frank own Farpoint Toys and Collectibles in Mays Landing, NJ.  They partake in the annual Halloween Parade and asked me to be a part of their group.  The kids in the crowd love my costume especially when I would remove the hockey mask to reveal Jason’s face.  The younger kids have no fear; it’s the teenagers that get scared and one actually took off like a bat out of hell when I creeped up on him.  I continue to participate in the Mays Landing Halloween Parade with Farpoint.  The other event I was a part of was Halloween Comic Fest at the Hamilton Mall.  My friends Sean and Gregg own Level Up Entertainment and my friend Scott who is the manager asked me if I would be a guest judge in their costume contest.  That was when I created the South Jersey Jason Facebook page to promote the event.

Why Jason Voorhees?
Horror is my favorite movie genre and when I was younger I would go camping often.  In the woods at night, it would get silent and you often would wonder is there someone lurking in the woods?  When I was a counselor at a Boy Scout camp, I would use my horror knowledge to create stories during the campfires than pull pranks on the campers.  Friday the 13th is my favorite of the franchises as the original was filmed 3 hours away from me n Blairstown, NJ.  So the fact that the franchise has a Jersey connection is awesome.  Jason always intrigued me as he has a back story of drowning when he was a boy and the original movie was never intended to spawn sequels.  What I like about his character is that you do not know anything about him growing up, how did he survive all these years without being noticed?  What did he do all that time from 1957-1985?  Out of the franchise, Part 1-4 are my favorite as he is “human”.  It was not until part 6 they made him supernatural.  Of the supernatural Jason, my favorite is part 6 but I love the look of him in part 7.  I just purchased a great new part 7 costume from J3 Jason Costumes.  I plan on wearing it at NJ Horror Con in Atlantic City, NJ in October.

Best part of Cosplaying?
I remember watching an interview Gary Busey did for the 40th anniversary of Buddy Holly’s death.  He was discussing the Buddy Holly movie that he starred in.  He stated that when he put the glasses on, he felt like Buddy Holly.  That is how I feel when I put on the hockey mask.  When I dress up, it’s an escape from reality and I enjoy scaring people, meeting fans of the franchise and taking pictures with them.

How long have you been dressing up as Jason?
I have been dressing up as Jason since 2017.  I started coming up with ideas for which incarnation I wanted to be as there are so many.  As you recall, my favorite movies are 1-4 and in 2-4 he displayed human characteristics and was scary as hell.  So I decided to go for the part 4 look as that is my favorite portrayal of him during the early movies.  I purchased the pants and shirt from Goodwill.  The undermaask came from Dark Side Studios and I purchased the hockey mask from Monsters for Hire.  I recently just purchased a part 7 costume from J3 Jason Costumes.  James Ingram did a great job with completing the compression suit with the exposed bones on the legs, back and arms/hands.  He also weathered the shirt and pants and put together the broken chain necklace.  He ordered me a blank hood in which he painted to match the exposed bones on the compression suit.  During the whole progress he kept me updated with pictures of his progression. James Ingram was recently spotlighted on Return to Camp Blood podcast.  If you are a fan of the franchise or want to hear more about what he makes, give it a listen.   I ordered the part 7 hockey mask from James Rand.
Where do you want cosplay to take you?
I am hoping just to get my name out there and get more page likes on my Facebook page and views on my website SouthJerseyJason.com.  I would also like to be booked for events, whether it’s at a con or a Halloween Attraction.  As I had stated, I enjoy interacting with fans of the franchise.  I recently started a collaboration with the Blairstown Museum.  Jeanette Iuratto is the curator of the museum.  I interviewed her back in May and one of the topics was an event that is coming up in September.  She has a killer lineup scheduled 9/12/19-9/14/19.  On Friday September 13th, she is opening a Friday the 13th Museum.  She currently has a small exhibit in her current museum but wanted to offer a bigger and better experience to the fans who make the trek to town.  I will appearing that Friday in costume taking pictures with fans.  I will also be selling 8x10 prints of me in costume for $13.  For every print that I sell, I will make a donation to the Blairstown Museum.  She also has another event planned in December in which I will also be a part of.  It’s still in the planning stages so I cannot discuss that just yet.  For more information about the Blairstown Museum and the Friday the 13th Museum, check out The Blairstown Museum on Facebook and BlairstownMuseum.com

Have you thought about  doing any other  characters?
Actually I have.  I have 2 versions of a Michael Myers costume-the 1978 and 2018 style. Before I got the Jason costume, I dressed as ’78 Myers for Halloween. When the new Halloween movie came out, I dressed as 2018 Myers from Halloween and dressed up as the character for the 2018 Mays Landing Halloween Parade.  You can only do so much with the Michael Myers look as it is very basic.  With Jason, there have been 12 movies each having a different look.  I like seeing other cosplayers taking their own twist on things.

What are your goals for the website?
When I interact with other businesses, I put a link on my site to promote their website.  I want to continue to help promote the independent retailers, the mom and pop stores, other pop culture or horror related websites etc.  I write blogs from my first experience watching the movie, my tour at Camp Crystal Lake and my favorite kills from each movie.

Do you enjoy going to Haunted Attractions?
I do.  I started going to Field of Screams at Creamy Acres in Mullica Hill back in 2009.  I pretty much attend that every year.  I have yet to try Bates Motel, Jason’s Wood’s or Eastern State Penitentiary.   I have toured ESP during the day and  if you love history, it’s a great tour.  My wife surprised me with a vacation to Orlando this upcoming October for my 40th birthday.  I am finally going to get to cros off one of the things on my bucket list.  She booked the trip so we can attend Universals Halloween Horror Nights.  I did attend Paranormal Cirque last October.  Its Cirque Du Soeil meets horror.  The whole show was fantastiifantastic.  From the tent, to the performers entertaining the crowd before the show, the show itself and then meeting the performers after.  Check them out at https://www.paranormalcirque.com/

What is your favorite Haunted Attraction?
Since I haven’t been to any other it is Creamy Acres.  Even though they change the line up every so many years, I kind of gotten used to the scares.  I would like to attend an attraction that makes my heart race.

If you could add something to Halloween Haunts 365.com, what would it be?
From what you have posted so far, you have pretty much targeted my interest, from the attractions you have visited, movie reviews and the story behind the movie (Amityville).  If one day you can add adventures to abandoned prisons/institutes or the roads less traveled.  Personally for me, since I enjoy the horror franchise, it would be reviews of horror movies or documentaries.

Whats Next For Haunted Attractions...

Welcome back everyone! Hope your enjoying your day. Today we will take a look into whats next for our favorite Halloween past time, Haunts. And really where we see the industry moving, good and bad.

We have all seen the new digital effects in some our favorite haunts. You see pictures on the wall and you see a guy wielding a chainsaw that is getting closer to you. Before you know it you see the chainsaw come through the "door" and you get splashed with a little spray of water to make it feel like you were just sprayed in a poor victims blood. We see these everywhere and they are pretty cool for opening "holding" rooms but for use in the actual walk through I can say I am not a fan. The real fear comes from actual Haunt Actors. Scares come from great timed hidden animatronics. Shit, one of the biggest jumps I have had was when half a car came after me in an inside walk through. Came right for my ankles and damn right I leaped out of the way. This is what makes Haunt effective.

Another fad, I really hope is a fad is Virtual Reality. Right now, they are mainly used as side attractions but every 10 years VR always tries to make a come back. Virtual Reality will never look right for me. It didn't in the 80's It didn't in the 90's or now. It always looks like a crumby video game. This is not what I want for my hard earned money. I want fog in my lungs, the fear of something behind me, skilled actors at every turn and awesome special effects through out.

How do you Virtual Reality a Hayride? The chill in the air? The explosions that you feel the heat off of. No, I really hope that VR stays in the video game sector and they ruin whatever they try. VR has never been fun and it will continue to just always be a gimmick.

We need more Haunts to make it a great night out. There are many Haunts we get to spend the night out at. There are quite a few that need more of an experience. There are some amazing Haunts that we drive hours for but your really done in 20 minutes and that is it. More food, games, hell some have rides. A lot of Attractions are missing the boat with this. This is added income. Make it a night out and people will return over and over again.

We love our Haunts. I want them to stay how they are. The advancements in animatronics has really taken off in the past couple years. From skyscraper skeletons that breathe fire to anything you can imagine. Animatronics haven't looked as good as they do now. Keep up the great work Engineers and we look forward to see what you have in store for us this year!

One of the greatest advancements is the electrical controllers. You can control and program an entire scene to work flawlessly. This, in my belief has been the strongest addition to our Haunts ever. Billions of possible commands so you can even keep the show more lively and alot easier to change effects.

Just a couple thoughts I've had while sitting on a ton of airplanes. Until Tomorrow! Keep it here! at HH365.com!

Who You Gonna Call!?!?!?! That's Right. The Ghostbusters are coming to HHN!!!

Welcome back to another installment of HH365! Before we start, if there is anyone out there that wants to buy your Brilliant Writer and his VP of Marketing to HHN please let us know!

The Ghostbusters are getting their very own Walk Through in Halloween Horror Nights this year. This movie is easily in my top 5 all time favorite movies in any genre. I really need to see what they do for this attraction. I really hope they have the old lady from the library and then Zuul running around everywhere. Plus, I wonder if they will have Ghostbusters 2 characters and completely dump that bullshit remake made a few years ago that goes down as one of the top 3 worst movies I have ever seen. We also need to see the Scoleri Brothers and of course my Main Man Vigo the Carpathian. And also, A Giant Marshmallow Man would be probably the best thing you would ever see! Ok, I am done nerding out.

Not only does Ghostbusters having an attraction at HHN bring my entire childhood alive and crippling me with the fact that I cant make it this year. Again! I fit in pretty big suitcases! It also means that our Correspondent John is 3 for 3 on his HHN predictions for HH365.com Helping HH365 to become the top site for Haunted Attractions and anything that comes close! Keep it up John!

That does it for todays Post, just some HHN Announcements. We have much much more coming!

Keep it here every day!

What does John Wayne Gacy have to do with Haunted Attractions?

Welcome back everyone! We are so excited to see the growth of this site in just a few hard worked weeks. We hope you are enjoying the new website as we are bringing it to you day after day. Lets get to this pretty dark post.

John Wayne Gacy. Everyone knows who he is and what he did. "The Killer Clown" or "Pogo The Clown" was one of the most notorious Serial Killers the country has ever seen. With an estimated kill count of over 30 people, Gacy will forever be in the lure of the weird fascination of Serial Killers.

The first thing that comes to mind with the concept of this different kind of post, Gacy really enjoyed dressing up as a creepy clown. He did this he said to bring children joy. I really think it was the other way around. I believe he wore this outfit to scare the shit out of little kids in the area. Look at the picture, there is nothing fun about that clown. Looks like Ronald McDonald from hell. Gacy, I believe got his pleasure from horrifying kids and then later his victims. Much like what we do in Haunted Attractions. Oh! and look at that! Almost every single Haunt has a Clown scene and or clowns rummaging around the grounds. That is our first connection to Haunted Attraction and Pogo.

The second thing that just randomly blasted into my head. John Wayne Gacy was a very supportive member of the Jaycees. What most people that just enjoy Haunts do not understand is that the Jaycees are responsible for the type of Haunts we enjoy today. They built them all over and used them to fund-raise for the group. These were the first kind of Haunted Houses that were done year after year outside of the Haunted Mansion. It was one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. So, with that being said and as horrible as it may sound. There is a very good chance that "The Killer Klown" may have helped setup or design or worst of all, worked in one of these Haunted Attractions. It was the same time period and the same area. It is something to think about.

Sorry for the Dark post today, I was thinking about this while sitting in the airport because that is just what my mind does! Hope you may have learned something new!

Keep it here everyday but sunday! only at HH365.com

Tuesdays With TheMovieVlog

"Hey, cut that out. That's not funny!"

Story: Once again, the film opens with a six minute recap of the ending to Part 2. I guess they really didn't think we would ever be able to have movie marathons when they made these films. After the opening credits, we are introduced to Harold and Edna, who really don't stick around very long. Edna is watching the evening news and we learn that this film is taking place right after part 2. I do like the opening quite a bit. We get to see Jason stalking around Harold and Edna's house/store, creating a lot of tension until he is ready to kill.
In the next scene, we are introduced to our new group of teenagers. We meet Chris (our new final girl) and her friends as they are on their way to Higgin's Haven at Camp Crystal Lake. While they are driving, they pass Harold's home/store and see the bodies getting taken away in an ambulance. Chris tries not to worry too much about it, even though she has a dark past with Camp Crystal Lake.
Throughout the story, we learn that Chris had been attacked by a hideously deformed man at Crystal Lake two years prior. This is why she is so afraid to be back at Higgin's Haven, even though her summer fling Rick is there to make her feel better. Everyone seems to be having a great time until they start getting picked off one by one, once again.

Acting: The acting in this one isn't quite up to par with the first two films for me. Richard Brooker as Jason is the stand out. A lot of people complain about Dana Kimmell (Chris), but to me, she is not the problem. I actually like her as the final girl a lot. She has to portray a lot of emotions, especially with her back story, and I feel like she pulls it off. The acting of the side characters are definitely worse. By far the very worst is Rachel Howard (Chili). Her screaming and yelling is just awful and doesn't seem genuine. I'll forever hear her yelling, "Shelly's dead" as long as I live.

Fear Factor: Let's start with the elephant in the room. The 3D effects are pretty awful and do nothing but take you out of the movie. A lot of times you can see the strings they are using to pull things towards the camera. I find most of these little tricks to be annoying, and I never ever want to actually watch this one in 3D. I don't want any YO-YO's hitting me in the face!
Besides the opening kills, it does take around 40 minutes before any more characters start getting picked off. Even though they take a while to get to, I still really like the kills in this entry. We get a perfect mix of off screen kills and some fantastic practical effects. One of my very favorite kills is in this movie and it involves a speargun. You know the one.
Also, I find this version of Jason to be the scariest in the whole series. I know this is mainly due to my nostalgia, because the first time I saw this movie was at a sleepover. I couldn't sleep that night after watching Jason slash through all of these characters. None of the other portrayals of Jason made me feel this way. Not to mention, Chris' back story about Jason attacking her has many fans believing that he sexually assaulted her. That's truly terrifying.

Originality: This was the first film in the series that didn't involve the camp being reopened. It was also the first film in the series that tried to develop all of its character more, even when we didn't need it. Of course, I can't fail to mention that Jason dawns his iconic hockey mask in this one. Thank you for that, Shelly.
Besides those few points, it pretty much repeats the formula of the first two movies. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Overall: I do think I'm in the minority when I say that this is one of my favorite Friday the 13th films. It has the scariest Jason and characters that we've all come to know and love. I definitely enjoy this sequel more than part 2 and always have it ranked highly. Chris might not be everyone's favorite final girl, but she was always a badass babe to me who put up one hell of fight.

Scores:

Story: 3/5
Acting: 3/5
Fear Factor: 5/5
Originality: 4/5
Special Effects: 5/5

Overall: 4/5

TheMovieVlog did another great job this week. It is not one of my favorite Jason's but it is when he becomes the unstoppable force that we know as Jason Voorhees. The Special Effects were the worst but every movie that tries 3-D has to play to that camera and I hate it. But! it still is not as bad as a lifeless shark, not moving, breaking sugar glass and everyone running. That will always be the worst effect in history.

Keep coming back for more here at HH365!

The Poltergeist Curse. Or what was considered The Curse

Welcome back everyone! Today we will take a look at the Poltergeist Curse.

Everyone remembers the classic Steven Spielberg movie Poltergeist. It was always one of my favorites. From the great special effects of its time to the Infamous "They're Here" Tagline. One of the best movies hands down about supernatural events.

Then the school yard rumors started. It was said that Steven Spielberg used actual skeletons for the movie and it caused a Curse that wiped out the entire cast. Wow, How is that true when "Coach" is still on USA? Then it came out that all the kids, the mother and the two psychics died. This ended up not true as well.

There were in fact four deaths following the release of the series. Two were actually not surprising as the man who played Reverend Henry Kane, played by Julian Beck died from his lost battle with Cancer. The man who played Taylor, Will Sampson had a lung replaced and was told by doctors that it was 50/50 if he would live a long life after the surgery.

These two deaths were for lack of a better word, expected. The next two however were not.

Carol Anne. A name that goes to horror like Nancy or Laurie. Carol Anne was played by the young  actress Heather O'Rourke. Heather died shortly before the release of Poltergeist III. She died at the young age of 12 years young. Heather was diagnosed with Crohns' Disease and later died from complications of Septic Shock. I believe this girl taken at this young age is what sparked all these rumors of a curse.

Carol Anne was not the only child of the Poltergeist series to have a run of horrible instances. The woman who played her older sister "Dana" Dominique Dunne, was murdered by her ex boyfriend on October 30th 1982.   After a terrible fight, her ex grabbed Dominique's throat until she collapsed to the ground. Dominique fell into a coma and passed away four days later.

A curse? I don't think so. Spielberg would never use real skeletons for props because that for one would really cost too much. This is all a myth. School yard banter of the late 80's.

Come back tomorrow because we have no idea what were doing yet! But keep it here at HH365.com

Amityville....What Happened That Night?:

Welcome back everyone! Tonight we will take a look at really happened the night that sent the pictured house into fame! This Iconic picture is not our property but we love it so we used it!

Everyone pretty much knows the Story. In November of 1974, Ronald Defeo woke up around 3:15 am and decided to kill his entire family in their house at 112 Ocean ave Amityville NY. Defeo killed 6 members of his family with .35 caliber Rifle. All lay dead in their bed. Killed violently in their sleep. Maybe in an attempt to get out of the hardest charges, Defeo pleaded that the Spirits that Haunted the house at 112 Ocean ave have been bothering him for months and finally were his reason for committing the Mass Murder.

Now lets take a quick look into one creepy fact. You can do your research and see some conflicting stories on whether or not the youngest sibling was found in her bed or in the closet. Either way, A .35 caliber rifle blasts in the night and no one wakes up?  Boom, Boom, Boom and not one soul wakes up after even hearing the first one? This has bothered me for years. Every body found as if they were sound asleep when the bullets ripped through their flesh. How?

Did Ronnie Defeo actually act alone? Most people do not believe that he had any help. As there are some reports of neighbors hearing separate gunshots but I do not have any idea how far neighbors are as I have not been to this site yet. From the pictures, it looks like there is a neighbor pretty close to the left in that white house. Now sadly, 6 members of the family are dead.

The following year in December, The Lutz family moved into this location in Amityville. The family is said to have experienced some of the same things that Ronnie Defeo dealt with including waking up at 3:15. Feeling cold all the time and growing increasingly irritable towards his Wife and kids.
There is not a ton of proof that anything like this happened to the Lutz family. Ed and Lorraine Warren did visit the house after the Lutz family moved out leaving all of their possessions behind. Lorraine did notice a Very Dark presence in the house that actually stayed with her for a very long time. But, in the same hand. There are many articles linking Ed and Lorraine Warren to the Lutz family writer for the book. Whether they were helping out or taking money for a story is really up in the air.

Many families have moved in and out of the 112 Ocean ave Building. Not one has complained about the house or any spirits.

The house is back on the market again. I can not find out how many times it was sold at the moment but why would people keep leaving a lake side house in Long Island?

Growing up in a bad area, I know what gunshots sound like and they wake you up even blocks away. So, in my opinion. There is something in the Amityville House. There is no way you can stay asleep with a Rifle firing shot after shot. I don't know if it is everything George Lutz and Ronnie Defeo say there is, but something very very strange happened there that night. Believe what you will about the aftermath but the night Ronnie Defeo killed his entire family. There is no way you find all 6 bodies laying in their bed. It really bothers me that this did not bother any police officers at the time too.

Well! Make out what you will about this crazy night. Spiritual? Possession? Accomplices? You be the Judge and feel free to reach out and tell us what you personally think.

The House is for sale again. I would love to build the ultimate Haunted Attraction inside of it. I think it would make the best stage for a great Haunted Attraction.

Until tomorrow Folks! HH365 Out!

Dante's Dungeon. A Rare Dark Ride

Welcome back everyone! We hope your having a great day and getting ready for Halloween and Haunt season as we are close to just two Months away from our First Official Haunt Review of the season! That will be Field of Screams on September 14th. So, if you would like to come say hi, we will be there!

Lets get into Today's topic. Dante's Dungeon. One of the very few "Dark Rides" left in the world. This ride is so old. that I remember riding it when i was younger then my kids age. It is probably the oldest memory I have of my deceased Uncle. When ever I see this ride it takes me back to going on it my first time. Being very scared and realizing it was no big deal. A few years back I was able to take my youngest son on it and it scared him a bit. But, a memory I will always have.

This is still a fun ride. We really hope the Moreys' Pier Upper Brass keeps it going. I was not able to find how old this ride is but I know i was on it when I was a small child so at least 33 years now.

The ride is simple, You enter a little car that I really don't fit into anymore. Then it takes you through scenes of cemeteries, vampires and Devils. It really is one of a kind. I suggest if you are in Wildwood for the day to go ahead and check it out. The tickets are pretty cheap and well worth it since this is a piece of Haunt History.

Thank you for reading. We are getting closer to locking down our schedule as we speak. We have a ton of Haunts to get to this year and cannot wait to bring you all the footage.

Keep It Haunted Everyone!

First Haunt Review Of The Season. Ghost Ship

Welcome back everyone! Tonight we will take a trip on the Wildwood Boardwalk for our first Haunt review of the season. The Ghost Ship, if you guys can remember was one of our first reviews ever on this site. we took a few years off of going inside because it never really changed. And it still hasn't!

Situated on Morey's Pier in Wildwood, NJ is a rusted, interesting amusement ride. Ghost Ship the Haunted Walk Through. As many Sea Faring legends go, there are supposedly hundreds of real Ghost Ships floating across the Oceans of the World. Floating alone with no crew and always a mystery to what had happened to the crew. The Ghost Ship follows a similar narrative but adds a Nuclear Zombie element I guess. This is only about a 5 minute Walk Through so there is not much to say but that it felt great being in a Haunt again!

This attraction used to have a lot more actors through out it. It used to have a pretty effective blinding technique that would stun you for a few minutes. I always enjoyed it because it was pretty entertaining. This time around we really just walked through and looked at props, I cannot really remember if we even seen an actor through the entire ship, just your basic air compressor attempts at jump scares. Really disappointing effort. Just take it down if you don't want to keep building it year after year.

The good thing with Ghost Ship, They have great scenes and props through out the ship. It really is decorated like a world class Haunted Attraction. The detail is phenomenal. Great props and nice ship scenes really give to the story of the Ghost Ship. Lets get to the disappointment of Ghost Ship.

And for the Overall:
The lack of Actors really brought down some very hard work on set design and props. It really is unfortunate. Well, Come back tomorrow as we also visited one of the last Dark Rides remaining on the East Coast let alone the country. We wont score it because it is much different and much quicker then a Haunted Attraction.  Thats tomorrow here at HH365!

Tuesday's With TheMovieInsta

Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)

"Jason, Mother is talking to you!"

Story: "Mrs. Voorhees is dead, and Camp Crystal Lake is shut down, but a camp next to the infamous place is stalked by an unknown assailant."
This film opens with Alice, the only survivor of the first film, who is sleeping pretty unpeacefully. Alice is dreaming the whole ending to the first film, giving the audience a recap. This takes up the first seven minutes of the run time. I think the opening to this film is so funny. Alice is living alone after the events of the first film, and we soon get the first kill in this sequel. I find it so funny, because Jason has carried his mothers severed head into town and put it in Alice's fridge. He waited patiently until Alice looked in the refrigerator to kill her. Then he politely takes her screaming tea pot off of the stove for her, you know. Since she's dead.
After the opening credits, we cut to new campers making their way to the campsite that they will be working at. This isn't technically Camp Blood, but it does share the same lake. Paul, the camp director, gives more back story on Jason. He insists that Jason is just a legend and the campers shouldn't be worried about him. Ginny, played by Amy Steel, is our new final girl. Pretty much after this, we get another story about a group of camp counselors getting picked off by another unseen killer.

Acting: Just like the first film, I do not have any issues with the acting. The stand out of the film is Amy Steel. She does have majority of the screen time, and it makes all of the other characters seem minor. Amy kills this roll. Also along side her, I enjoyed this portrayal of Jason.

Fear Factor: Although I do like this version of Jason, I do not find him to be at his scariest in this movie. He still seems very human. He falls down a lot, hides in beds to scare his next victim, and is easily fooled by our main protagonist.
Besides the opening kill of Alice, the 2nd and 3rd kills are very spaced out. This film really doesn't pick up until the last 35 minutes. I really love the second half of the film, but the first half drags for me just a little bit. I do think this sequel has one of the best ending in the entire series (except for the first film, of course).

Lastly, the special effects are nothing to write home about. The first film has so many memorable effects, and you could tell that this one was missing Tom Savini. I know the MPAA is really to blame for this. A lot of the kills are cut away, or off screen all together. The best kill by far is the one with all the stairs. You know the one.

Originality: Honestly, this story is pretty cut and paste from the original film. The biggest stand out of this movie is Ginny. She is a witty, brave, and non-virgin final girl. She doesn't just stand out in this movie, but she stands out in the series as a whole. I wish I could say that Jason was super original, but he wasn't. Yes, this was the birth of an icon, but even his look was ripped off from The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976). His iconic (and original) look did not come along until Part 3.

Overall: I do have a fun time watching this movie. I will admit that it is not my favorite Friday the 13th sequel, but I never skip it in a marathon. Ginny is one of the best final girls ever, and I love the last act of this movie. Jason Voorhees is one of my favorite slasher villains, and this was just a small taste of what was yet to come.

Scores:

Story: 4/5
Acting: 5/5
Fear Factor: 4/5
Originality: 3/5
Special Effects: 3/5

Overall: 4/5

Shelby hit the nail on the head. As this is the first movie we find out Jason is alive and well in Camp Crystal Lake. It could have done a little better job. I think 4 out of 5 is perfect. It was not my favorite sequel but you couldn't go wrong with one of the coolest Final Girl in Horror.

Guys, we will leave the older scoring system for now. We will have updated scoring soon.."Ivana"!

Come back tomorrow for another episode of HH365!

Debate #1, Who is the Best Horror Icon. Freddy, Michael or Jason!

Welcome back to HH365! Today we will cover the hardest question of our childhoods and a debate that has been going on for over 30 years. Who in deed is the Best Horror Movie Icon of All Time! Today we will dive deep into everything we know about these Horror Maniacs. We will choose a winner at the end so keep on reading! We will also add a question to the site and see what the popular vote is. Without anymore delay, lets get to it!

Backstory
We all know we do not have the interest in a Hero or Villain without getting to know them. There is no character to cheer or route against unless there is Character Development.  Let us get to the back stories of the Trio from Hell!

Freddy Krueger: We all know the story very well. There was Amanda Krueger. Locked in over a long Holiday at Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital. Locked in with over 100 maniacs that have not seen a woman for years. Beaten and Raped over and over again until the seed of our beloved Anti Hero was sown. After Birth, Poor Fred was stuck in abusive foster homes until he finally snapped. After many years of hunting and killing children, Fred was finally caught and placed into custody. Well, that didn't hold old Fred down for long. A cop read his writes wrong and Fred Krueger, Child Murderer was set free! Fred Krueger was found in a old boiler room where a lynch mob of neighborhood parents have had enough of losing their children and was fed up with the gross incompetence of the law. They look matters into their own hands and burned Fred alive. This is where the drama really began. Fred was able to reach people in their dreams.

Jason Voorhees: Back in the 1950's Mentally Disabled Jason Voorhees went for a swim, unfortunately for Camp Crystal Lake then and forever, Jason drowned because all the counselors were not paying any attention to him, they of course, were busy making love! Well after many years later, the camp tried re-opening. But Pamela Voorhees would have this happen over her dead body! And it would happen one Friday the 13th, Pamela has had enough guilt over the crushing loss that she went to Camp Crystal Lake and made sure no one would reopen the camp. Thats until Alice showed up with a machete and changed Pamela's plans. Alice managed to take out Ms Voorhees with one quick beheading of a machete. While the rumors started that Jason watched Alice slice his Mother's head right off. Making the Crazy Hockey mask wearing Psycho we all love to hate!

Michael Myers:  One Halloween Night, Little Mikey Myers picked up a large kitchen knife and really never put it down. Other then being what Dr. Loomis described as "Pure Evil", we really don't know why Michael Myers brutally murdered his sister Judith Myers wearing his clown costume on Halloween Night. Then going catatonic for 15 years only to hunt some babysitters.

Backstory winner:
Freddy Wins the Backstory Hands Down!

Weapons

Freddy Krueger: Freddy wears the Iconic Glove. Razor sharp knifes at the end of each fingers makes for the most Original Horror Tool in the history of Cinema. Handcrafted by the Son of a hundred Maniacs.

Jason: Jason usually carries around his trusty machete. He has used other objects such as pitchforks, spears, rakes and so on. Also, likes to throw bodies through windows. But really stuck with the machete through out history.

Michael: Like we mentioned earlier, Michael always used a Kitchen knife. When he wasn't stabbing his victims into doors to create the best Halloween decorations ever, he would use his bare hands.

Winner of the Weapons category:
Hands down, Freddy Krueger's Glove is by far the winner!

Kill Count
The one category that is straight facts. The infamous Kill Count of each contestant. Lets see the data.

Freddy: 35 kills in 8 Films. Not a lot of death but all were very creative.

Jason: 146 kills in 12 Films. Huge total.

Michael: 94 people in 10 films. Decent amount!

Winner of Kill Count:
Jason knows how to eliminate some people!

Box Office Earnings
I know Box Office earnings is not what makes a great movie, but for our little experiment here we can see which character brought in the most money per movie. Lets see who takes this down.

Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise: 42,463,281 per movie. Wow!

Friday the 13th Franchise: 38,769,960. Decent amount for 12 Films

Halloween Franchise: 38,605,952. Neck and neck with Friday the 13th but, The winner is!
 Freddy takes down another category.

Opponents
These Villains can only do so much to make the films shine. So lets take a look at each characters' Opposition.

Freddy: Nancy Thompson. Just your normal Rich Girl from Springwood, Ohio. Nancy and her friends start realizing that their dreams are the same. The only one worried about it before its too late is Nancy. Nancy and Freddy Battle through 3 films. Nancy always found a way to get rid of the Menace. Armed with a strong mind and a will to live Nancy has become one of the favorite "Final Girls" of all time.

Jason: Tommy Jarvis. Tommy dealt with Jason a lot longer then Nancy dealt with Freddy. Tommy first stopped Jason in part 4, when his entire family was being terrorized by Jason Voorhees at Camp Crystal Lake. Tommy faced off against Jason in Friday 4. Then faced the idea of Jason in 5. Then the idiot accidentally brought the beast back to life and had to fight him again in part 6. So, all in all. A tie!

Halloween: He met Michael when he was just a child after murdering his sister. Dr. Samuel Loomis. Dr. Loomis has battled the entity that is Michael Myers through 6 films. Dr. Loomis battled Michael hard and long for a massive amount of movies. Dr. Loomis made the Halloween series intact.

The Winner of the Opponents category:
Halloween takes this one home!

Now, to the final category.

Story Line Constancy:

Freddy: The Nightmare series runs pretty straight forward. Freddy is after kids on Elm Street. All in their dreams. There is only one real break in this thread and that was Wes Craven's New Nightmare. But really, that movie followed the same movie lines. Fred out for revenge against the Elm street kids. Nightmare 2 went a little different then the usual formula. Overall though, very consistent.

Jason: This Franchise has been to space. Yup, Space! Into the 2400s, into the future. Yup. Jason has also been to Manhattan. The whole story is that Jason protects his Camp. Not Times Square. I loved this Franchise but there is not even a reason to continue on.

Michael: It was kind of easy for Halloween to follow its schedule. There was not any main reasons put forward on why Michael started and continued his streak. But major jumps from Laurie Strode taking on Michael in Halloween 1 and 2. Then going in a completely different direction for 3. Then Laurie Strode is dead and we have to follow her Daughter around Haddonfield for two movies, just to have Laurie Strode alive and is the Head Mistress of a random remote fancy ass school that her 17 year old son attends. But then again, dies in the next installment in a great scene where Michael finally ends her life off the roof of a Psychiatric Hospital.

Winner of the Story Line Category:
Guys, We have looked at a ton of info. Went over the truths and ideas of each outstanding villain. I love all three Franchises. But it really comes down to facts. And as we showed in this post, Freddy Krueger is the ultimate Horror Villain of All Time. Check the right side of the website and vote for your favorite so we can have a popular vote.

Until next time everyone! Keep coming back to HH365.com
